Position Summary:The Aviation Technology Division is seeking a dynamic, motivated student to work part time and assist with receptionist and administrative support duties as a member of a departmentally administered labor pool. The successful candidate will work collaboratively and independently at times with a variety of responsibilities depending on current need.

Duties:

The Aviation Technology Division is seeking dynamic, motivated students to work part time and assist with receptionist and administrative support duties. The successful candidates will work collaboratively and independently at times with a variety of responsibilities depending on current need.

Job duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as first point of contact for programs within the Aviation Technology Division.

  • Fulfill general receptionist duties such as answering multi-line phones, greeting visitors, and scheduling advising appointments.

  • Scan, file, shred, and/or copy documents.

  • Provide support to various internal projects and a variety of other office duties as needed.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Applicant must possess knowledge of basic computer software to include MS Office (Word, Excel). Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate with diverse patrons. Willingness to learn and capability to quickly apply new knowledge. Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality. Multi-tasking and prioritization skills. Ability to operate common office equipment including a multi-line telephone system. Ability to work well as part of a team, and also to work independently on tasks as assigned.

High school diploma is required. Previous experience in an office environment is preferred. Previous Aviation related experience and/or background preferred. Experience handling confidential records is desirable.
