Community Health Systems RN-Cath Lab-Full Time in Palmer, Alaska

Performs duties in accordance with the policies and procedures of Mat-SuRegionalMedicalCenter and regulatory agency standards.

Provides professional patient care in the cardiovascular and radiology (future) labs using a multidisciplinary team approach. The ability to communicate and delegate patient care that is consistent with team member s education and experience. Assists the physicians in performing and completing invasive interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures using a variety of specialized equipment, monitors devises and supplies. Knowledgeable in Cardiac and Vascular practice as well as emergency techniques and protocols. Assists with quality control and process improvement. This position includes circulating, scrubbing, and recording of cardiology cath lab patients.


Graduate of an approved or accredited school or cardiovascular/radiological/cardiopulmonary/respiratory therapy technology, LPN preferred, or on the job time equivalent.

One year of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures for graduate of an accredited program, or 3 years minimum cath lab experience with 5 years of other patient care experience.

ARRT, RT, RCIS, LPN or some equivalent certification or registry eligible. Current BLS, ACLS certification.
